‘Six!’ is a stylish and unique silk pocket square with hand-sewn hem, inspired by a passion for cricket. It was created in collaboration with artist Helen Cooper and is presented in a complimentary gift box. Made in England; printed and manufactured with hand-finishing in Macclesfield Cheshire, the traditional home of English silk printing. Design & Inspiration ‘Six!’ is a stylish and unique full-size silk pocket square and has been created in collaboration with contemporary Australian artist Helen Cooper, who describes herself as a ‘tonal impressionist’. Helen likes to work ‘alla prima’, where wet paint is applied on top of wet paint, and this adds a freshness to the carefully observed colours in her impressionist works. Created in oils on one of her trademark small size canvases, Helen's original work was inspired by her passion for cricket and captures the power and beauty of a perfectly executed shot over the boundary ropes for six. The artwork is reproduced with a good balance of colour between the printed and reverse sides of the silk pocket square so works perfectly with any pocket square fold. The image is framed by the pocket square’s off-white border and orange hand-rolled & hand-sewn hem. 'Six!' is presented in a complimentary branded gift box with its blueberry-coloured lid and pale blue base. Inside each box, the high-quality cricket silk pocket square is tissue-wrapped and accompanied by a card telling the story of the artist and her vibrant artwork. Size Full-size silk pocket square, 42cm x 42cm (16.5” x 16.5”). Dimensions may vary slightly following the printing and manufacturing process as silk is a natural material. Material Composition & Care High-quality 100% Mulberry silk woven into 15oz silk twill gives the characteristic sheen and cool touch as well as ensuring the pocket square sits nicely in the top pocket. Silk should always be dry cleaned. Avoid pressing the hand-finished hem to preserve its distinctive 'shoestring' shape.
