We’re planting trees at our Woodoaks farm to fight climate change. Trees absorb carbon from the atmosphere and safely store it deep in the soil. Planting new trees makes a significant contribution to the UK’s carbon net-zero target. Alongside fighting global warming, the trees we plant around fields act as a barrier, preventing soil from being washed away in flash floods. They also reduce the risk of it being blown away during dry months.
